“I want to be influential with my voice, I want to use it for good and I want it to help make change” - Malcolm Brogdon

Our Mission

We believe that we all share basic human and civil rights. We believe that access to clean water and quality education is fundamental to achieving equality for all people.

We work toward the vision of a more just world through our two major initiatives, Hoops4Humanity, and the JHA Education Project. We partner with visionary organizations and individuals to eliminate education, gender, and health inequalities domestically and abroad. We ensure those we serve are empowered to thrive and reach their potential.

Worldwide, almost 800 million people lack access to clean water. Access to clean, safe water transforms lives by improving health, reducing waterborne diseases, and eliminating the intensive labor needed to gather water needed for survival. Access to water allows girls and women to pursue their educations and work. When families have access to safe water and schools are equipped to support educational achievement, community members are healthier and women and girls, especially, are able to pursue their educations and meaningful work.

Our Hoops4Humanity Team consists of WNBA and NBA players that have pledged themselves in assisting with our mission. They serve as ambassadors for our work and assist in propulsion of our efforts in East Africa.

JHA Education Project supports educational achievement by focusing on literacy, mentoring, and providing impactful educational experiences for children. We collaborate with school leaders to create Empowered Schools where children are offered unique educational experiences that enable them to excel.
